We hope that the TSC website provides all the information that you need; but, if you can’t find what you are looking for, please take the following steps to get your questions answered.

Prospective and Admitted Students

1. DO THIS FIRST, PLEASE. Attend an online information session. These live sessions provide tips on the admissions process and details about transfer credit. Please attend one of these sessions as your first step.

   If you have not yet submitted your application, register for a Prospective Student Information Session.

   If you have been admitted, register for an Admitted Student Information Session.

2. If you have additional questions after you have attended an information session and checked the website, you can reach the Transfer Student Center at LSATransferCenter@umich.edu. 

   When emailing, please ask detailed questions.    

3. Call the Transfer Student Center at 734-647-6256 to chat with a Transfer Student Ambassador. If they are unable to answer your questions, they will refer you to the professional student recruitment staff.
4. Attend a Transfer Student Ambassador online panel.  Register here.

Do not submit any application materials to the LSA Transfer Student Center.

The TSC staff does not process applications, nor can we forward materials to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Please see the Apply page for details on submitting material.

• Transcripts should be emailed to transcripts@umich.edu. The transcripts must be official transcripts sent directly from the institution. 

• If you have submitted your Common Application and want to update or change anything, email ecredentials@umich.edu.

• Letters of recommendation can be emailed to ecredentials@umich.edu.

Current LSA Students

• Please see your general academic advisor for questions about transferring credit to LSA or check the Newnan Academic Advising Center website.

• Do not have transcripts submitted to the Transfer Student Center.
