SLE Peers

SLE first year students are encouraged to return as Peer Mentors and leaders within the SLE community. Students can apply to this position in the spring as their first year draws to a close. This position becomes active in August as the student's second year gets ready to begin and a cohort of new first year students get ready for move in day. 

Peer mentor Responsibilities

• Plan and lead community events like community dinners, fall break, SLE welcome events, movie nights, and other events throughout the year.
• Keep up with the weekly SLE newsletter. 
• Organize and update the SLE house projects. 
• Table at events like Campus Day, Earthfest, and Harvestf fest.
