SLE prides itself on the commuinty that can be found each year in the cohort. part of how this community is strengthened is by group activites, volunteering, and trips. Some of the group work consists of attending the seminar, working together during a campus farm shift, and attending sustainability lectures or activities together.

- Clothes mending workshops
- Peach Jam making sessions
- Fall Break trip to UofM's Biological Station
- Kayaking
- Game night
- Movie night
- Community Dinners
- Cooking Demos with chef's from Twigs dining hall
- Studey breaks
- Registration and backpacking Q&A sessions
Most importantly, SLE is for students so activities and trips are discussed and often initiated by students. We love to hear feedback on activities/trips as well as ideas for new ones.
