Slavic PhD candidate Natalie McCauley accepted a Visiting Assistant Professor position at the University of Richmond. The position, which begins August 1, 2018, entails teaching six courses per year, including two Russian language courses at the elementary or intermediate level, and one seminar for more advanced language students. The other three courses will cover the wider field of Russian literature and culture, including 19th or 20-21st century literature, film, popular culture, and/or interdisciplinary topics that engage Russian Studies with other fields (e.g. art, environmental studies, comparative literature, entrepreneurship and design, race and racism, social justice, diaspora and global migrations).
