Directions

The Research Museums Center is located south of the intersection of State Street and I-94 (exit 177, State Street).  The Research Museums Center is at 3600 Varsity Drive, which also houses collections for the Herbarium, Museum of Anthropology, the Museum of Paleontology and the Museum of Zoology.

1) From Central Campus -

By Car Go south on State Street; shortly after crossing I-94 take the round-about left onto Ellsworth Road; then after crossing the RR track, at the next traffic light, turn left onto Varsity Drive. At the curve, turn right to stay on Varsity Drive. 3600 Varsity Drive is at the end of the road on the left. 

By AATA bus Take the no. 6 bus, which stops in front of the Michigan Union; get off at stop located at the intersection of Ellsworth Road and Varsity Drive; walk north ca. 1/2 mile on Varsity Drive. At the curve, turn right to stay on Varsity Drive. 3600 Varsity Drive is at the end of the road on the left. 

2) From Detroit Metro Airport -

Go west on I-94 to exit 177 (State Street). Go south on State Street to the round-about and turn left on Ellsworth Road; then after crossing the RR track, at the next traffic light, turn left onto Varsity Drive. At the curve, turn right to stay on Varsity Drive. 3600 Varsity Drive is at the end of the road on the left.
