Hey! Welcome to QMSS!
We are declared QMSS minor students who are working alongside faculty and administration to help build a support system and become a resource for others who have declared or are considering the minor. Our goal is to help build community through setting up academic, career-oriented, skill-building, and social events throughout the school year. In addition, we are always available to students to answer questions about course requirements, electives, general advice on the QMSS program as well as listen to any suggestions about events you’d like to see us have. Although we are not tutors, we can offer guidance and can direct questions to another resource when necessary. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions at qmss-peermentors@umich.edu!

Bella is a junior majoring in Economics and Spanish with a minor in QMSS. She has taken QMSS 201 and 301, and is interested in finance and how data analytics can optimize strategic decision making.

Economics major; QMSS minor
Leila is a sophomore pursuing an Economics major and QMSS minor. She is passionate about law and intends to go to law school after graduation. She has completed QMSS 201 and 301 and plans to take more courses in future semesters. She is also involved in Moot Court and has research experience in documenting criminalization, confinement, and resistance with the Carceral State Project.
