About
Mrinaalika (Mrin) Sivakumar (she/her) is a Masters of Public Policy student at the Ford School of Public Policy with the Graduate Certificate in Digital Studies. Mrin spent five years working as a homeless services case manager with individuals impacted by incarceration, homelessness, substance use disorders, and reentry-related challenges, and through this work, became interested in how to improve systems for vulnerable populations. Mrinaalika is also a visual artist and graphic designer, creating various flyers, zines, billboards, data visualizations and write ups throughout her creative career. Her interest in Digital Studies comes from wanting to address biases that exist in technological systems meant to help people, in tandem with her interest in using art, visuals and design to advocate for better policies/systems.
