AMPLIFY Student Showcase

AMPLIFY is the Digital Studies Institute’s annual student showcase, celebrating innovative and socially engaged work by undergraduates at the intersection of technology, culture, and justice. Launched in 2022, AMPLIFY features a curated selection of projects developed in digital studies courses throughout the academic year.

Student projects are nominated by Digital Studies faculty for their creativity, critical insight, and meaningful engagement with the field. The showcase highlights a dynamic mix of formats—from research essays and critical media analysis to creative arts projects, experimental storytelling, and immersive virtual reality experiences. Students present podcasts, short films, photo essays, zines, interactive websites, digital art, and VR environments that explore pressing questions about power, identity, and digital life.

Whether grounded in scholarly research, artistic experimentation, or both, these projects reflect the intellectual rigor and radical imagination that define the Digital Studies Institute. Open to the public, AMPLIFY invites audiences to engage with student work that challenges, critiques, and reimagines our digital futures.
