Cass Zegura is a third-year PhD candidate in Film, Television, and Media. Their research on rendering digital bodies explores technologies of visual capture, (re)production, and modulation as truth claims about contested social categories such as gender, race, and sexuality. They are the Assistant Production Editor of JCMS and a member of the Roleplaying Realities lab with Professor Angela Washko, where they also study the affective and haptic qualities of tabletop role-playing games.
