Digital Studies Now (DSN)

Digital Studies Now (DSN) is a Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop housed in the Digital Studies Institute that brings together graduate students from across the University of Michigan whose research interests intersect with digital studies, digital humanities, and technology.

DSN fosters an interdisciplinary community where graduate students can share research, exchange ideas, and build scholarly connections across disciplines. Through writing workshops, collaborative discussions, shared readings, and professional development opportunities, DSN supports students at every stage of their research while encouraging new approaches to studying the digital world.

At its core, DSN invites participants to explore a shared question: What does it mean to be a digital studies scholar now?

Graduate students interested in digital studies are encouraged to participate in DSN, whether or not they are pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Digital Studies.
