The Donia Human Rights Center extends its financial support to University of Michigan students engaging in projects related to contemporary human rights. Specifically, the Center offers the Fair Labor Association Fellowship, DHRC Museum of Memory and Human Rights Fellowship, Human Rights and Environmental Justice in Edéa Cameroon Internship, and the Social Change Initiative Fellowship to undergraduate and graduate students, the International Human Rights Fellowship, the Student-Initiated Summer Internship Fellowship , and the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre Fellowship to undergraduate students, and the Robert J. Donia Graduate Student Fellowship and the Fellowship for Research to Advance Global Health & Human Rights to graduate students. The Donia Human Rights Center also administers the Ian Fishback Fellowship to undergraduate students majoring in the Program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).
We also offer students the opportunity to attend lectures and engage with human rights practitioners and scholars. This includes the annual Wallenberg Lecture.
