Noga Kadman, an Israeli researcher in the field of human rights and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, will give a lecture based on her recent publication, Erased from Space and Consciousness: Israel and the Depopulated Palestinian Villages of 1948 (Indiana University Press, 2015). Her book uses official archives, kibbutz publications, and visits to the former village sites, to reconstruct this history of erasure for all 418 depopulated villages.
