Join CMENAS for a discussion with Fatma Müge Göçek, author of Denial of Violence: Ottoman Past, Turkish Present, and Collective Violence against the Armenians, 1789-2009 (Oxford University Press, 2014). Professor Göçek will introduce the book, then respondents Professor Ronald Suny (U-M History) and Professor Hisyar Ozsoy (U-M Flint Anthropology) will discuss its significance. A Q&A will follow the panel discussion.
