I am fiction writer, essayist, translator, scholar and educator. My intergeneric research explores how writers navigate the complex terrain of knowledge-seeking and self-expression through essayistic writing. Specifically, it delves into the artistic and epistemological dimensions of essayism within contemporary literatures from Spain, Latin America, the USA, and Germany. My current study highlights the pivotal role of translation as not only a bridge between languages and cultures but also as a unique creative and scholarly form of both writing and reading that enhances our comprehension of essayistic expressions. Ultimately, my research aims to uncover innovative forms of writing that infuse argumentative dissertations with the vibrancy of self-expression and creative exploration.
