Congratulations to William Stroebel, PhD!
On September 25, 2017 William Stroebel successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in Comparative Literature: Fluid Books, Fluid Borders: Modern Greek and Turkish Book Networks in a Shifting Sea. The dissertation committee was chaired by Vassilios Lambropoulos, Cavafy Chair of Modern Greek with committee members Tatjana Aleksic, Professor of Comparative Literature and Slavic Languages and Literatures; Artemis Leontis, Professor of Modern Greek, Department of Classical Studies and Chair; Karla Mallette, Professor of Romance Languages and Near Eastern Studies, and Kader Konuk, University of Duisburg-Essen. Starting in September 2018, Will Stroebel will be a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies, Princeton University.
