Please join us in congratulating Dr. Alexander Aguayo, Dr. Tameekia (Imani) Cooper Mkandawire, Dr. Karl Gaudyn, Dr. Mariane (Mari) Stanev, Dr. Peter Vorissis, and Dr. Xiaoxi Zhang for successfully defending their dissertations in the Summer of 2022. The Department of Comparative Literature and our community are very proud of all their work and commitment and we're looking forward to hearing about their future achievements.
With this latest cohort of PhDs, the Department of Comp Lit hit another milestone: over 100 completed and defended dissertations this millenium (which is just a fancy way to say since 2000)!
