Megan Argillander received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011.

Megan Berkobien received a BA with Highest Honors in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and she also completed a Minor in Russian Language, Literature and Culture.  Her honors thesis in Comparative Literature was entitled: “The Imperceptibility of Desire:  Translating gender and exile in Cristina Peri Rossi’s Cosmoagonias.”   She received a 2011 Virginia L. Voss Memorial Award for excellence in academic writing, awarded by the Honors Program.  She also received the first annual Undergraduate Prize for Literary Translation, awarded by the Department of Comparative Literature.   

Bridget Bodnar received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011. She also completed a BA with High Honors in Communications, where she wrote an honors thesis entitled “Mastering the Meal: American Identity on the Food Network.”  She also has a minor in Modern Western European Studies. As an intern for Michigan Radio of National Public Radio, Bridget has been involved in research for Offbeat and Michigan Watch.

Adrienne Bombelles received a BA in Comparative Literature and a minor in Peace and Social Justice in April 2011. Her honors thesis in Comparative Literature was entitled: “Existence is Elsewhere: Haunted Houses and Uncanny Investigations.”

Jessica Carey-Webb received a BA with High Honors in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and also a BA in Spanish and a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Her honors thesis in Comparative Literature was entitled:  “Destination Brazil:  Representation, Tourism and the Favela.” Jessica was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to teach in Brazil in winter of 2012.  

Kennedy Carter received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a BA in French.  

Jeanie Jiaye Gong received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a BA in Political Science.  

Kristina Gully received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011.  

Neil Matouka received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a BA in Germanic Languages and Literatures along with a minor in Environment.

Helen Merenda received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a BA in Germanic Languages and Literatures with a minor in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Sexuality Studies.  

Alexandra Niemi received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a BA in Romance Languages and Literatures.

Adellee Radkoski received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, along with minors in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Sexuality Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures.

Caroline Woods Ross received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011, and a degree in Oboe Performance at the School of Music.  As a member of the University of Michigan Symphony Band, she participated in the 2011 Michigan Band Tour of China, and she received a scholarship to continue her studies in oboe at the Yale School of Music.  

Sara Silveri received a BA in Comparative Literature in December 2010, and a BA in Women’s Studies.  

Lucille Wines received a BA in Comparative Literature in April 2011.
