4:00 AM
Hatcher Graduate Library, Room 100 Gallery
The panel will be moderated by Professor Benjamin Paloff (Comparative Literature, Slavic Languages & Literatures). It brings together three publishers for a discussion about what is at stake in acts of poetic translation and in the publication of translated poetic works. The conversation will range from the practical to the theoretical, as we discuss the process of bringing books into the world and talk about what translated texts should and shouldn't do.
