Guest Speaker: Linda Martín Alcoff, Professor of Philosophy, Syracuse UniversityDo ethnic differences within racial groups make a significant difference to one's identity? Do these internal differences have moral and political significance? What about racial differences within an ethnic group? This lecture will consider the complexity of internal differences, across and within racial and ethnic categories, and considers whether existing discourses of identity need revision to incorporate them.
