Rony Barrak is a master of the Darbouka, percussionist, composer, and producer from Lebanon.
The Fontomfrom Drum and Dance Ensemble are master drummers and dancers, former members of the National Dance Company based at the Center for National Culture in Kumasi, Ghana.
Ticket Information Free concert. Tickets required and must be acquired in person at the Michigan Union Ticket Office (530 S. State Street, Ann Arbor, MI, 48109). Reserve by phone for concert night pick-up: (734) 763-8587. Limit two per person.
In collaboration with the University of Michigan Africanist Dance Traditions, the U-M Creative Arts Orchestra, and the Department of Dance and Percussion Studies, School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
