About
Mara Bollard joined the Weinberg Institute in 2019. She completed her PhD in philosophy at the University of Michigan in 2018, then spent the 2018-19 academic year at Amherst College as a Visiting Assistant Professor of philosophy. Her primary research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of philosophical ethics and cognitive science. Her recent work explores the empirical nature of the emotions, with a particular focus on anger and disgust and the various roles these emotions play in our moral talk, thought, and behavior.
