For cognitive science majors who are currently writing honors theses -- or thinking about it in future years -- the Weinberg Institute is excited to introduce the Robert J. Glushko Undergraduate Thesis Award for Outstanding Cognitive Science Research!
This annual prize of $1,000 may be awarded to up to two (2) exemplary honors theses submitted by cognitive science majors in recognition of outstanding research performance in cognitive science. This prize is made possible by the generous support of Dr. Robert J. Glushko, who has supported cognitive science research at all levels throughout the U.S. We are grateful for Dr. Glushko's support and excited to recognize excellent research by our outstanding undergraduate students.
Students who complete an honors thesis will automatically be considered for this award by meeting the April 1 deadline for thesis submission. No application is required.
If you're considering doing an honors thesis next year or after, it's never too early to start thinking about the next steps! Please check out our newly updated honors website, meet with an advisor, or chat with a peer facilitator about the process.
