On November 3, 2021, the Weinberg Institute, in conjunction with the Opportunity Hub, held a Cover Letter and CV/Resume workshop for Cognitive Science majors!
Our peer facilitators gave presentations on their professional development opportunities from within and outside the major, and also highlighted marketable skills they had acquired through their classes. Megan Downey, a representative from the Opportunity Hub, also gave an informative talk about best practices for creating compelling application materials.Â
For those who were unable to attend, we want to make sure that you have access to some of the helpful resources highlighted during this event:
Opportunity Hub Canvas Site--Students can use their U-M credentials to access this amazing resource, which contains handouts and webinars on locating internships and jobs, leveraging your LSA degree in applications, interview preparation, career fairs, and much more!
