Current research interests:
Dr. Hannouchi’s research agenda focuses on Arabic language learners’ intercultural communicative competence and intercultural identity development via study abroad experiences. Additional areas of interest include language policy in multilingual contexts, language education in Morocco and North Africa.
Current projects:
Study of Arabic learners’ cultural identity experiences in summer study abroad homestay.
Teaching interests:
Courses that help learners explore social and cultural issues of Arabic-speaking societies through contemporary Arabic cinema, literature, and media Arabic.
