Mohammad T. Alhawary Receives 2019 AATA (American Association of Teachers of Arabic) Book Award
MES Professor of Arabic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition, Mohammad T. Alhawary, was recently awarded by the American Association of Teachers of Arabic (AATA) a book award for his book: Arabic Second Language Learning and Effects of Input, Transfer, and Typology. The ceremony took place in MESA meeting in conjunction with AATA in November 2019.
