Elizabeth Wingrove (BA, Reed College, 1984; PhD, Brandeis University, 1994) is Professor of Political Science and Women's Studies. She has taught and published in the areas of feminist theory; feminist political thought; history of political thought; contemporary social theory; education and democratic politics; and critical theories of civil society. Her current research focuses on the epistolary politics of eighteenth-century France
