Curriculum Coordinator
About
Isaac serves as the Curriculum Coordinator for Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) and Middle East Studies (MES). His role focuses primarily on supporting both departments' curricula and academic programs by planning course schedules, tracking enrollments, processing course approval requests, and managing general curricula inquiries, among other responsibilities.
Originally from Northern Michigan, Isaac holds an MA in International and Regional Studies (MIRS) with a specialization in Japanese Studies from the University of Michigan and a BA in Japanese from Western Michigan University. Having studied abroad at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto from 2019-2020, Isaac is also passionate about international education and cultural exchange. His professional history includes study abroad work, teaching English as a Second Language, and interning at the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) during graduate school.
