About
Ardella Williams is a higher education administration and team leader whose work is invested in curating undergraduate and graduate student programs with a focus on academic support and community development.
Williams brings a wide range of student affairs-related experiences to the position. Prior to joining ALC and MES, Williams worked in the nonprofit and higher education sectors specializing in communications, event planning, program management, student support, and community development.
In her current role at ALC & MES, Williams works on all aspects of outreach, student programming, recruitment and retention activities, curriculum development, coordination of Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) hiring, and monitoring the day-to-day student services for ALC & MES.
A native Michigander, Williams received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her M.A. from Michigan State University. She engages in local community volunteerism and fundraising for various organizations. She relies on her creative practices through event planning, photography and reading a good book from time to time.
