Current research interests:
My research interests include Urdu and Hindi phonology in the theoretical framework of Columbia School of Linguistics, Hindi Urdu grammar and pedagogy, linguistics, communication and language use. In addition to this I am also interested in exploring and analyzing the language aspect of Indian movies, television serials and plays.
Teaching interests:
Exploring and using new teaching technologies and methodologies fascinates me. I am interested in incorporating culture in Urdu and Hindi language teaching. I intertwine script vocabulary and grammar in context and search new ways to enhance communicative competence alongside language learning.
