At 5:00-6:30pm on October 23, 2020, the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures will host a virtual PhD Alumni Career Panel featuring four recent graduates of the doctoral program: Saul Allen ('15), Susan Hwang ('16), Anna Fodde-Reguer ('14), and Nirinjan Khalsa ('14). This event is part of broader professionalization programming in the department, as well as a wider initiative supported by the Rackham Graduate School to prepare students for diverse professional pathways and opportunities after completing the doctoral degree. Panelists will reflect on their career trajectories since graduating from ALC and offer advice for current PhD students and faculty mentors, followed by Q&A.
