after searching in vain at the thrift stores, fear of buying a used rice cooker with fried lizards inside, and convincing from my mother, i am finally getting a rice cooker (unused) off of ebay. it should arrive on monday.
after paycheck hits on friday, an asian supermarket will be sought out to procure white rice (among other things such as udon, tofu, and miso) in preparation for the incoming rice cooker. ice soup week will be over soon. next week, we will feast.
