The Coalition for Tuition Equality invites you to a talk by Jose Godinez-Samperio, “DREAM on Hold: Can an Undocumented Lawyer Practice Law?” The Coalition for Tuition Equality is a coalition of organizations advocating for in-state tuition for undocumented students. Members of the Coalition include: American Civil Liberties Union - Undergraduate Chapter, College Democrats, Detroit Partnership, Fighting Obstacles Knowing Ultimate Success, Human Rights Through Education, Latin@ Studies Program, Latino Students Organization, Lecturers' Employee Organization, Michigan Immigrant and Labor Law Association, Migrant Immigrants Rights Advocacy, Muslim Student Association, Roosevelt Institute, Social Workers Alliance for Immigrant Rights, South Asian Awareness Network, Students For Educational Reform, Students Organizing Against Prisons, and United Students Against Sweatshops. 7:00-8:30pm, 1120 Weill Hall.
