The Ann Arbor Art Center came through again! Just in time for the Telling It in-person Summer Camp at Parkridge Community Center in Ypsilanti, the Art Center staff offered boxes of high-quality art supplies for the children that participated in the weekly Telling It sessions. “We aretruly grateful for the support from the Ann Arbor Art Center. The artists’ paint pallets, watercolors, crayons, colored markers, sidewalk chalk added to the children’s creativity,” remarks Deb Gordon-Gurfinkel, Telling It Founding Director. “The children were delighted to use these wonderful supplies as they worked on their many art projects.”
“ArtBox: Outreach is a pivotal component of the A2AC’s educational outreach. The Center is proud to partner with Telling It to distribute Art Boxes to youth with limited access to art supplies,” states Meghan Clark, A2AC Development Manager.
