The Flint Justice Partnership is hosting a speaker series about the problematic origins of the Flint water crisis.
Grassroots organizer Nayyirah Shariff, journalist Curt Guyette, and Flint advocate Claire McClinton have worked extensively on issues related to the Flint water crisis and will share their insights as part of the speaker series, followed by a Q&A session. The event will take place on Monday, February 1st at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Flint Justice Partnership (FJP) is a University of Michigan student organization sponsored by the Center for Social Solutions that aims to serve and connect with the Flint community and educate U-M students about the Flint water crisis.
Nayyirah Shariff is a grassroots organizer based in Flint. She works with a coalition to advocate for residents impacted by the Flint water crisis.
Curt Guyette was the first journalist to expose the Flint water crisis. He has continued to write about issues in Flint and co-created a documentary.
Claire McClinton is a Flint resident and former auto worker. She has been an advocate for labor rights and safe, clean water in Flint.
