On Thursday, December 2, 2021, CSS Director Dr. Earl Lewis spoke with Tamron Hall and Dr. Annabelle Lin Atkin of Purdue University about the historical context of race, our orgins, and perceptions of racial identity.

"We forgot our common orgin story, that 100,000 years ago people migrated away from the African continent and moved from place to place; each time they did, they created new stories about how they came to be. With that, we forget that all humans share 99.99% of our DNA."
