ONSF-supported programs provide opportunities in a variety of fields including STEM, Biomedical Research, Public Service and International Relations, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The programs we offer support for are split into two categories.
Current Undergraduate Tuition or Research: These programs are available to current undergraduate students at the University of Michigan. They offer support for undergraduate tuition costs, research expenses, and/or experiential opportunities that are conducted primarily before graduation.
Future Graduate Program or Career Experience: These opportunities are available to current U-M undergraduate and graduate students as well as recent alumni. They offer graduate education tuition, research funding, and/or career-building experience after receiving a Bachelor's degree. The opportunities vary so widely that we have organized these programs further into the following categories:
- Future U.S. Government and Civic Service
- Leadership in the U.S. and Abroad
- Leadership in the UK
- International and Experiential Opportunities
- Graduate STEM Research
Be advised: Even though these opportunities provide funding after you receive a bachelor's you may be expected to apply as an undergraduate student.
