Think Outside the Textbook.
In the College of LSA, you can learn from multiple angles by acquiring experiences beyond the classroom with professors and classmates. The Michigan Learning Communities (MLCs) within LSA allow you to connect with fellow undergrads and faculty who share your interests. MLCs combine the personal attention and connections of a small liberal arts college with the vast resources of a large research university, creating unparalleled opportunities and a strong academic and personal support system.
Residential Learning Communities
Make a Big Place Smaller. The MLCs offer one-on-one access to professional staff who can help you navigate campus resources and academic pathways in a friendly, supportive environment. Enrollment is limited, with a one-year minimum requirement for participation. Take a look at the options below to see which one might be right for you.
Bridge Scholars Plus is exclusive to participants of the Summer Bridge Scholars Program for the respective year.
A vibrant community that allows scholars to build on the connections formed during Summer Bridge and provides meaningful experiences through our partnership with optiMize, along with additional opportunities throughout the fall and winter semesters. We are centered on community, exploration, and academic excellence.
