ISIS is offering a variety of ecology field courses in Belize this summer.  The courses offer students a chance to study in the tropical English-speaking setting of Belize and gain valuable professional and personal experience.  Belize’s rich environment, cultures and biodiversity are the labs for these courses.  About 40% of the land and sea areas of Belize are set aside in protected areas, parks or reserves to protect its diverse flora and fauna.  The people of Belize are a fascinating mix of cultures and languages, including the descendants of the ancient Maya, African slaves, Spanish invaders and European buccaneers along with Mennonites, Chinese, East Indians and Lebanese.  The cultural exposure while studying with ISIS is a wonderful bonus.
