Join us for an end-of-term performance from students in the West African Drum & Dance course.
This unique course engages foundational techniques, terminology, and the history of traditional West African dances, primarily those derived from the Old Mali Empire. Additionally, this course introduces the musicality of traditional rhythms on drums and other percussive instruments that align with traditional music from Mali, Guinea, and Ivory Coast.
