Course Description

This extension of introdutory GIS will give you experience using GIS in field research planning and analysis. You will come up with research questions that can be addressed with the aid of data set mapping. And you'll use real data -- pre-existing and self-generated -- to produce new knowledge.

Collecting field data.
More data collection, this time at Lake Michigan.
Even in two weeks students assemble enough information for short presentations of their research.
