The LSA Technology Services Digital Scholarship Research services support humanistic inquiry while mindfully balancing the tensions between innovation and preservation. If you are new to digital projects, we are here to help you learn what is possible and how to execute digital scholarship projects, as well as find the resources and expert advice for doing so. Through this service offering you can get access to resources like our Omeka web hosting platform and our ArcGIS (mapping) platforms. Depending on the specific needs of your project, we may pull in other support partners and utilize their platforms as well.
LSA Technology Services holds workshops where you can meet new people, learn more about how to get started, or learn how to use certain technologies. We hold regular office hours with our cross-campus partners so you can drop in and ask questions, try out some new ideas, or see what others are doing. We proudly support the U-M Library Scholar Sprints, and work with the cross-campus Connecting Digital Scholarship group on events programming that brings together scholars, students, and support partners.
