Faculty Advisors: Robin Edelstein & Oscar Ybarra
Zach is a Ph.D. candidate in social psychology. His primary research interests include social comparison, competition, and romantic relationships. Zach studies antecedents of "competitive behavior," and in particular how individual differences impact processing of situational factors during a given competition. Zach is also an active member of the Edelstein Lab, where researchers implement a diverse array of methodological approaches (e.g., hormone assessment, natural language processing) to better understand ubiquitious features of romantic relationships.
