Kaitlin P. Ward is a PhD student in the Joint Program in Social Work and Developmental Psychology. Her research focuses on parenting and family wellbeing. More specifically, she examines the effects of parent-child interactions, parental discipline, and family processes on child socio-emotional outcomes. Within these interests, Kaitlin primarily studies impoverished, oppressed, and understudied samples, and uses advanced statistical techniques to explore the effects of parenting behaviors across multiple contexts.
