Graduate Student, American Politics
About
Princess’ research primarily investigates how geographic residence impact American political behavior. Her dissertation explores the way in which sub-national identities are developed overtime and whether they inform African Americans and White Americans' attitudes about politics across location. Her work attempts to provide insight on why geography distinguishes American public opinion and behavior.
Outside of graduate school, Princess volunteers with a host of community services organizations in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. She earned her B.A. in Political Science in 2014 at Jackson State University, located in Jackson, MS.
