Volunteer to Mentor

Get to know an individual student and offer support as they work to discover the various possibilities and pathways of the liberal arts with our online mentorship platform, debuting in 2019.

How do I contribute?

Offer insights and advice based on your experience. Students may want to know more about your industry, or about career exploration more broadly, in a one-on-one relationship. Or, they might be seeking wisdom through Discussion Groups. Discussion Groups are conversations—and communities—that allow alumni to connect with students and each other in an online space. Examples include groups for those interested in living and working in Chicago, those curious about the nonprofit space, or for Arabic-speaking alums and students.

What can I expect?

How and when you interact with students is up to you. You can meet in person, chat on the phone, use video conferencing, or provide a voice in the Discussion Groups of your choice.
