About
Watt is a fourth-year student in the College of LSA, studying political science and history. He is passionate for creating change in the government, and getting more students involved with policymaking on campus. In March 2021, he was elected as the President of LSA Student Government, along with his running mate Zackariah Farah.
He has been in LSA Student Government since Fall 2018, and has served as an Associate, Appointed, and Elected Representative. He served as the Vice Chair of the Internal Review Committee from April to December 2019. He was elected to the position of Elected Representative in March 2019 and again in April 2020. In June 2020, he was elected to the position of Counsel, and authored more resolutions and bylaw amendments than any previous holder of that office.
Outside of LSA SG, Tyler works as an RA in the Alice Lloyd Hall and researches under Drs. Ken Kollman and Allen Hicken on the Constituency Level Election Archive (CLEA).
