Featuring a dynamic lineup of comedians who bring their diverse Latin American backgrounds – and quick wit – to the stage. Enjoy performances by several Michigan-based or born talent including Hilary Jimenez, Esteban Touma, Camila Ballario, Johanna Medranda, and Julianna Loera-Wiggins.
HILARY JIMENEZ is a New York based comedian, writer, and Limited Too Fitting Room Survivor, whose comedy style is crossing the border and the line - in designer shoes of course. Her comedy gives loud, abrasive voice to the female, chicana experience, with a self-deprecating wit and unapologetic delivery that makes her mother deeply uncomfortable.
ESTEBAN TOUMA: Part Palestinian/part Latino immigrant from Ecuador, Touma is a teacher, writer and comedian adjusting to life in the US. His comedy has been featured on Comedy Central, NPR, Sirius XM, and The Moth, and has opened for comics such as Judd Apatow, Mark Normand, Rory Scovel, Chris Redd, among others.
CAMILA BALLARIO is an Argentinean-born, Ann Arbor-based comedian and award-winning singer whose quirky wit and musical charm have entertained audiences across the Midwest.
JOHANNA MEDRANDA is a bold Peruvian American stand-up comedian, producer, and podcast host, celebrated for her fearless, high-energy comedy.
JULIANNA LOERA-WIGGINS is a PhD student by day and stand-up comedian by night, known for her punchy storytelling and performances at the Latina Comedy Festival and across Michigan’s thriving comedy scene.
