Spring and summer German language courses are a great opportunity for students to learn a lot in a short amount of time while taking advantage of small class sizes. Intensive German language courses provide the opportunity to rapidly increase your level of fluency and prepare for a study, internship, or work abroad experience! Course descriptions can be found in the LSA Course Guide. Current U-M students may register via Wolverine Access. Non U-M students will need to apply for guest-student status in order to enroll. The guest-student application process can be found on the undergraduate admissions webpage.
Any student wishing to enroll above entry-level will need approval from the German Language Program Coordinator. This can be done by completing the placement test or providing proof of
previous German study. If approved, you would receive override permission to enroll in the course. The placement test can be taken before or after applying for guest-student status.
