About
Molly Keran is a graduate candidate in English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan, where she studies the intersections of mass culture, popular literature, and sexual violence. Her dissertation, entitled The Genre of Rape: Women’s Popular Literature and Contemporary Representations of Sexual Violence explores the place of rape narratives in genres often associated with female audiences, including romance novels, mass-market memoirs, and true crime. She is also a certificate student in Women and Gender Studies.
Most mornings, you can find her with a cup of tea and her cat Felix on her lap, working on a crossword puzzle.
