Nathan Mather is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan and is on the job market this year. His interests are in public finance, applied microeconomics, education, welfare economics, and political economy. Nathan received his bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Prior to starting his PhD at Michigan, Nathan worked as a research analyst at Education Analytics, a non-profit that uses data and analytics to improve outcomes for students in the education system.
